I stayed at Apartments Matana Chano for a couple of days during my visit to Mljet island. The apartment was well equipped and had a modern design. The highlight was definitely the fantastic terrace with stunning views. The area was quiet at night, perfect for a peaceful stay. The location was also great, within walking distance of the National Park lakes and close to the NP information point, supermarket, and restaurants. The hosts were extremely helpful and even provided transportation to and from the ferry in Pomena. a wonderful experience.

Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

Right place for exploring Polace.

We had a wonderful stay at Apartments Matana Chano. The location was excellent, with stunning views of the bay. The owner, Pero, was incredibly helpful and greeted us at the boat in Polače. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We loved exploring the National Park right on our doorstep and enjoyed activities like biking, hiking, and swimming. The restaurants in Polače were also great. we highly recommend this hotel for its fantastic location and friendly staff.

It was made for holiday. It had a perfect and lovely setting right by the Polace harbour, the Mljet national park, and lakes, beach and Odysseus cave.

Well, the bathroom was very small.

thank you for wonderful stay, having setting on beautiful island. thanks to very helpful and excellent staff. has exceptionally comfortable beds. it includes nice bathroom. there's views over the bay. the apartment has perfect short walk to lakes, beach and odysseus cave, the yachts docked overnight and still piecefull. and it is metres from restaurants.

During our stay at Apartments Matana Chano, we were amazed by the spacious apartment with a lovely balcony overlooking the sea. The parking area in front of the apartment was also a great convenience. The cleanliness of the apartment and the peaceful atmosphere made our stay very comfortable. The hosts were kind and friendly, ensuring that we felt welcome throughout our visit.

We have stayed here for snorkeling. Amiable and accommodating staff who greeted us. It was marvellous and stunning in the whole island...

The view from the balcony was stunning, and being on the top floor was worth the extra cost. the apartment was well-equipped, and our hosts were friendly and helpful. the location was perfect for exploring the national park, with the bus and bike rentals easily accessible. the village of Polace had everything we needed, including a lovely beach.

A great experience. Cons: Nothing at all!

We spent the majority of our evenings on the balcony, enjoying the breathtaking view and the pleasant weather. The apartment was conveniently located, with a car/bike rental just a few steps away and the shuttle to the national park starting only 2 minutes from the apartment. We also appreciated the proximity of the Studenac supermarket, which made it easy for us to stock up on essentials for our large family.

My wife says that she would have preferred if the air conditioning unit had been properly explained to us upon arrival. It turns out that it could also provide heat, but we didn't know this as it was disconnected from the mains.

The value for money at Matana Chano was excellent and the room itself was clean and well-equipped. The location of the hotel was perfect, with beautiful sea views and a large terrace to enjoy them from. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

Breakfast delights could be improved with more diverse options.

The upper apartments are amazing, modern, and well-equipped with a kitchen that made me feel like a master chef, giving Gordon Ramsay a run for his money! The incredible view from the terrace made me feel like I was starring in my own personal nature documentary, with panoramic scenes that could rival National Geographic.

Terrace noise from other guests: Loud chatter and radio noise from other guests on the lower floor made me feel like I stumbled into a bustling karaoke bar rather than a serene retreat.

We had a fantastic stay at Matana Chano in Polace. The apartment was clean and bright, with a great view of the picturesque village. Pero and his family were incredibly friendly and accommodating, offering us transportation to and from the port. We even received a free upgrade to a spacious two-bedroom apartment. The WiFi was excellent, and the apartment's location allowed us to swim in the Adriatic just steps from our door. Highly recommended!

Everything is what i need and want

The apartment at Apartments Matana Chano was cozy and comfortable, making us feel right at home. The private bathroom with a bathtub or shower was a nice touch, and we appreciated the free WiFi and TV with digital channels. The kitchenette was well-equipped with a refrigerator and stovetop, allowing us to prepare our own meals. we had a pleasant and enjoyable stay.

Personally, we found the tile/marble floor in the apartment to be a bit cold and not as cozy as carpet. However, we understand that others may appreciate the modern and sleek look it offers.
